Water Fluoridation - it's NOT natural
Politicians and the Australian Dental Association are under the illusion that they are tackling the dental health crisis with water fluoridation. But tooth decay is NOT a disease of "fluoride deficiency". It is the result of a deficient diet, an acidic body, build-up of toxins such as heavy metals, an over-consumption of sugar or poor dental hygiene.
It isn't Natural
Fluorine is a gas which never occurs in its free state. It is added to drinking water as Hydrofluorosilicic Acid - a chemical byproduct of aluminium, steel, cement , phosphate and nuclear weapons manufacturing - and is tainted with cadmium, arsenic and lead. Occasionally it is added to drinking water in the form of Sodium Fluoride - also used as rat poison.
It isn't Safe
Sodium Fluoride is the active toxin in rat poison and cockroach powder. It is "more poisonous than lead, and just less poisonous than arsenic" - Clin. Toxicology, 1984. As for Hydrofluorosilicic Acid, well it's an S7 poison which has never been tested for human consumption and is classified as hazardous waste until purchased by our government for the purpose of "protecting teeth". Oh yes, and it also carries with it those other poisons, cadmium, arsenic and lead. Fluoride destroys human enzymes.
It doesn't Work
Even the ADA agrees that Fluoride does its work topically (when painted on or applied directly to the teeth) rather than by ingesting it. If it has any effect at all, it's an antibacterial one, rather like chlorine, and that's already in our drinking water. It also delays the natural eruption of teeth, thereby delaying their potential to decay.
It can weaken Teeth & Bones
Fluoride increases osteoporosis and causes dental fluorosis - discolouring or mottlng and weakening tooth enamel - because it interferes with the mineralisation of collagen, the body's glue. It accelerates the Aging Process and inhibits the ability of DNA to repair damaged cells.
We can't be Complacent about it
You can't remove it from water or from food with cooking, processing or digestion and it accumulates in fat cells. It's already in our food chain, in all food grown, processed, bottled, canned, produced in fluoridated areas and it's impossible to determine how much an individual person consumes on a daily basis.
And the Good News?
You can remove fluoride from your drinking water with a Reverse Osmosis Water Filter. Water distillation is another option but is slower, uses more energy and generates excessive heat.
