Election Candidates on Water Fluoridation

We've been asking some serious questions on Water Fluoridation to our local election candidates who have been advised that their replies would affect our votes. "As a candidate in the upcoming state election could you please advise your position on the following:-

1. Do you support the State Government forcing the Hastings council to introduce water Fluoridation without any public consultation and what will you do about this?

2. Will you support and request an inquiry into why no scientific research has ever been conducted in NSW and Australia into the health affects of consuming fluoridated water.

3. Are you aware that the “Fluoride” being used to dose our drinking water is toxic waste from the fertiliser industry? Namely Hydro fluoro silicic acid, one of the most deadly acids on the planet!!

Attached is the Data sheet from Incitec Pivot, the supplier of this toxic waste to be put in our water supply as confirmed by Murray Thompson, Hastings Council.

Please review the element table in this document, most of these heavy metals are deemed not safe for human consumption by our National and State Health authorities, so why are they putting this in our drinking water?

4. Are you aware that over 98.5% of all fluoridated water ends up in our environment, (via car washing, toilets, leaks, hosing etc)? In fact, only 1%-1.5% is actually consumed by humans. Based on the water consumption of this region in 2008, as a minimum, this equates to 5.5 metric tonnes of this toxic waste per year making its way into our environment.

The answer to these questions will determine my vote in this election along with over 400 people on my mailing list in this region. "
